Raonic discusses the serve: "It can have an incredible impact. I think it's a shame not to focus on it."
Milos Raonic, who hasn’t played since the 2024 Paris Olympics, gave an interview to Tennis Channel.
He talked about the serve, a formidable weapon in the Canadian’s arsenal. For him, it’s a shame not to emphasize this shot more.
"I think some players don’t want to be labeled as ‘servebots,’ but I’m fully aware of what has defined my career.
My tennis story would be very different without my serve. It’s the only shot that can truly build a career in this sport. No one has built their career solely on forehands, volleys, or backhands.
But the serve can have an incredible impact. And I think it’s a shame not to focus on it."
