Rinderknech withdraws from first round in Basel
Arthur Rinderknech was scheduled to make his debut this Tuesday at the Basel tournament against Raphaël Collignon. However, the Frenchman decided a few hours earlier to withdraw from the tournament.
On his Instagram account, he justified his decision: "With my team, the decision was made to withdraw from the Basel tournament.
A difficult but necessary decision, listening to your body is important (fatigue). I thank the organizers of the Basel tournament for their understanding. See you next year."
Registered for the Paris Masters 1000 qualifiers next week, Rinderknech is still waiting for a possible wild-card.
