Royer, Lucky Loser in Brussels, Wins First Round Against Baez

Valentin Royer had lost in the final round of the ATP 250 Brussels qualifiers to Gilles Arnaud Bailly. However, Roberto Bautista-Agut's last-minute withdrawal allowed him to enter the main draw as a lucky loser.

The Frenchman seized this opportunity and won his first-round match against Sebastian Baez with a score of 6-2, 6-3, saving the only break point he faced.

He will face Benjamin Bonzi in the next round, who defeated Reilly Opelka.
