Rune: "I feel almost like a 31-year-old man".
During his exhibition against Casper Ruud, Holger Rune spoke at the press conference about his maturity: "How mature can you be at 19?
You see a lot of other 19-year-olds acting very differently from tennis players of that age.
When I arrived on the ATP circuit, I had to compete very quickly with people who weren't a year or two older, but ten to fifteen. So that was a very big step.
I feel I've managed to mature. So now I'm 21, but I almost feel 31."
Rune defeated Ruud in this exhibition, the Nordic Battle, with a score of 6-4,6-2. Since he had lost the first set last Saturday, the two players played a decisive tie-break to decide the winner of this exhibition.
The Dane won the tie-break by a score of 10-6, all in an exhibition atmosphere.
