This Wednesday marks the conclusion of the first round at the ATP 500 tournament in Basel, with some big names on the courts of the Swiss tournament.

The Basel tournament will continue this Wednesday, and some of the top players will be featured in the first-round matches. World No. 11 and recent Stockholm champion, Casper Ruud, will face lucky loser Quentin Halys starting at 2:00 PM.

Following that, it will be time for an all-Canadian duel between Félix Auger-Aliassime and Gabriel Diallo, then the matchup between Taylor Fritz and Valentin Vacherot, who won the Shanghai Masters 1000.

In the evening session, a round of 16 match is scheduled between Jakub Mensik and the winner of the match taking place on Tuesday between defending champion Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard and João Fonseca.

On Court 1, Jiri Lehecka will take on Botic van de Zandschulp, before the encounter between Ugo Humbert and Sebastian Korda. After two doubles matches, the schedule will conclude with the final first-round match between Jenson Brooksby and Alejandro Davidovich Fokina.
