Rybakina on Vukov: "He never mistreated me".
Elena Rybakina, who lost out to Poland in the semi-finals of the United Cup with Kazakhstan, was asked about the controversy surrounding Stefano Vukov, her former coach who has now returned to the team.
Vukov has been provisionally suspended by the WTA, for reasons that are still unclear. He will not be allowed in the player's box or on the training courts.
Some speculate that this is due to moral abuse towards Rybakina.
The player says: "I can only say that Stefano never mistreated me.
I work with Goran and I'm satisfied with our work over the last two months. Stefano joins the team.
I've known this person for 6 years and there's a lot we can do outside the tennis court."
Words that some people doubt.
