Rybakina retrouve le sourire à Abu Dhabi !

La déception de son élimination dès le 2e tour à Melbourne est digérée pour Elena Rybakina. Elle a remporté le WTA 500 d'Abu Dhabi en dominant Daria Kasatkina sur le score de 6/1, 6/4 en finale ce dimanche. La Kazakhe succède à Belinda Bencic au palmarès de l'épreuve et s'offre déjà son 2e titre en 2024 après celui de Brisbane.

Rybakina a largement dominé les débats face à Kasatkina. Elle a survolé le premier set, ne laissant échapper qu'un jeu pour s'adjuger le premier acte en 25 petites minutes.

La deuxième manche à été plus accrochée, Kasatkina débreakant par deux fois dans la foulée du break adverse, avant que la Kazakhe ne parvienne à confirmer le troisième pour conclure le match sur son service.

I propose the following changes to the rules:

1...a walķover will not be a loss. We have no control of player's health. If he or she is entered in a contest we expect them to play.

2...an incomplete match is not a loss. If a player forfeits we pick another match if there are more to choose.

3...this also applies if TT cancels a match. TT will not take hours to decide an outcome.

It's a shame that so many matches are being canceled. TT ,you are destroying your game ,and thereby killing your app. I don't know how many matches others have had canceled , but I'm at 3 and it's only thursday.
