Sabalenka Sets Her Sights on Roland-Garros: "I Have Huge Confidence in My Clay-Court Game"
After securing her third career title in Madrid on Saturday, Aryna Sabalenka has further cemented her status as one of the favorites for the title at Roland-Garros.
Although the Belarusian has never reached the final of the season’s second Grand Slam (her best result being a semifinal in 2023), she now seems to have all the tools to lift the Suzanne-Lenglen Cup:
"I hope this year will be different from the previous ones. I have huge confidence in my clay-court game. I’ve already reached the semifinals and came very close to making the final.
I’ll go there to compete and fight with everything I’ve got. I’m ready to give my all on every point. I really hope to achieve a different result this year."
