Safin Officially Joins Rublev's Team for the Clay Season
Struggling since his title in Doha in February (early exits in Dubai, Indian Wells, and Miami), Andrey Rublev has decided to enlist the help of Marat Safin, who previously advised him last season to help combat his depression.
This time, the former world No. 1 and two-time Grand Slam champion will accompany Rublev on tour, joining his team for the clay season, as reported by journalist Sofya Tartakova.
Safin will be present at the Monte-Carlo Masters (April 6-13), where Rublev triumphed in 2023. Fernando Vicente, Rublev's primary coach since 2016, will remain in his leading role.
