Shanghai: Federer Included in Friday's Schedule

Spectators at the Shanghai center court will have the pleasant surprise of seeing the legend Roger Federer play.

The Shanghai Masters 1000 organization has unveiled the schedule for Friday, October 10, 2025. While one doubles match and two singles matches are planned, a match involving Federer will also take place in the final rotation.

As part of a celebrity match, the Swiss will team up with actor and director Donnie Yen.

They will face the pair composed of Wu Lei (Chinese footballer) and Zheng Jie (Chinese tennis player) right after the quarterfinal between Medvedev and De Minaur, scheduled around 00:30 French time.
