Aryna Sabalenka has advanced to the fourth round of Wimbledon. The world No. 1 had to work hard to defeat Emma Raducanu (7-6, 6-4) and will now face Elise Mertens for a spot in the quarterfinals.

After her victory against the British player (who led 4-1 in the second set following a grueling 1-hour, 15-minute first set), Sabalenka spoke about her opponent and believes she has what it takes to climb back up the rankings quickly. For context, the 2021 US Open champion is currently ranked No. 40 in the WTA.

"I can't predict anything, but I’m sure she has everything she needs to return to the top 10. Maybe not in a month, but in the near future, within a few months.

She has the game to be among the top ten, and I’m convinced she’ll return to the top. She’s playing much better than she was a while ago, more consistent in rallies.

Emma (Raducanu) has also regained a great level mentally. I think that’s the most important thing, and that’s how she’ll climb back up the rankings," Sabalenka concluded in her interview with *Punto De Break*.

Hello I'm new

I am surprised about relatively low attendance at Roland Garros which was the most popular slam 20+ years ago. I myself love it as well as really loving aus and us opens. I don't care about Wimbledon, sometimes maybe I can watch women's tennis. I hate Wimbledon's white dress code, I feel like I am watching junior tennis...I watched very few matches like Graf davenport final in 1999 the last time.....
