Shelton and Fils Withdraw from Their Doubles Quarterfinal in Toronto

Friends Ben Shelton and Arthur Fils had decided to team up in doubles at the Toronto Masters 1000. After securing two impressive victories, they were set to face Kevin Krawietz and Tim Puetz in the quarterfinals on Monday.

However, having also advanced to the singles quarterfinals, Shelton chose to prioritize his singles campaign and withdrew from the doubles match.

Arthur Fils’ Canadian journey thus comes to an end after his third-round loss to Jiri Lehecka in singles.
