Sinner adds a tournament to his end-of-season schedule
Defeated in the US Open final against Alcaraz (6-2, 3-6, 6-1, 6-4), Sinner failed to retain the title he won last year and, in the process, lost his world number one ranking.
While the Italian has mentioned a need for changes in his game, he is expected to return to the courts very quickly at the Beijing tournament (September 24–30) before defending his title in Shanghai (October 1–12).
But that's not all, as the 24-year-old player has also announced his participation in the ATP 500 in Vienna (Austria, October 20–26), where he triumphed in 2023.
