Sinner-Djokovic, Fourth Duo in the Open Era to Reach the Semifinals of Every Grand Slam in a Single Season
Jannik Sinner and Novak Djokovic will be competing in the US Open semifinals held on Friday. The former will face Félix Auger-Aliassime, while the latter will take on Carlos Alcaraz.
The Italian and the Serb are also the only two players to have reached the semifinals of every Grand Slam tournament this season.
A feat previously achieved by only three other duos: Rod Laver and Tony Roche in 1969, Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal in 2008, and Novak Djokovic and Andy Murray in 2011.
