Jannik Sinner is back in action this week. The defending champion is hoping to retain his Canadian crown.

After defeating Coric (6-4, 6-2) in his opening match, the world number 1 spoke about the Olympic Games in a press conference.

Asked about Djokovic's emotional reaction to his Olympic triumph, he said: "Of course, I understand his reaction, but I think he understands it better than anyone.

He tried so hard to get this medal, which was the last thing he had to do.

He knew it in his mind. He came close on several occasions, getting bronze or fourth place on several occasions.
