Sinner: "I'm never satisfied".
Jannik Sinner is one of the great gentlemen of the ATP circuit this season. Number 1 in the world since Roland Garros, the Italian is pretty well settled at the top of the hierarchy, and that could be the case for some time to come.
Despite losing his title at last week's tournament in Montreal, Sinner is not giving up hope and is looking forward to a good result in Cincinnati.
In a statement relayed by the ATP, the Transalpine explains that he is satisfied with his current results, but wants to do even better: "I think I'm in a good period for my mental health, and now it's time to enjoy myself.
You have to work hard to reach this position. And then, of course, you want to stay there to see how good you are in that position.
I think I'm doing a good job, even if the last two tournaments have been what they've been. My aim is to win as many matches as possible.
Yes, I'm having a great year, even if I'm never satisfied, that's for sure!"
