Sinner, Medvedev, De Minaur: Wednesday, October 22 Schedule in Vienna

Some big names will be on the courts in the coming hours in the Austrian capital.

The schedule is packed this Wednesday in Vienna. Seven matches are on the menu for the first round, as well as the round of 16. Kicking off the day at 1:30 PM on the Center Court, a match between Alexei Popyrin and Matteo Berrettini will take place.

Following that, Daniil Medvedev, fresh off his title at the Almaty tournament, will make his debut against Nuno Borges. Starting at 5:30 PM, world number 2 Jannik Sinner will also be on the court facing Daniel Altmaier.

Finally, in the evening session, Alex De Minaur will play his round of 16 match against Filip Misolic. After his victory against Rodionov in the first round, the Australian will have to overcome a second Austrian player in front of his home crowd. On the Glaubandich Court, two matches will also be on the schedule.

Tomas Machac and Flavio Cobolli will compete for a spot in the round of 16, while a second match for the second round will take place between Tallon Griekspoor and Brandon Nakashima. Finally, at 2:30 PM on the Fairplay Court, Corentin Moutet will face Damir Dzumhur, who came through the qualifiers. The two players are tied in their head-to-head record (one win each).
