Sinner: "My weakness? Going to the net"
While Jack Draper had failed to identify any real weaknesses in the world number 1's game, pointing only to too much kindness, the main man concerned has a different view of the matter.
As he prepares to challenge Taylor Fritz for the US Open title this Sunday, the 23-year-old was kind enough to confide in us and explain what, for him, is the main weakness in his tennis: "My weakness? Going to the net, that's for sure: sometimes I miss a few volleys.
I think I can do a bit better with my shot selection.
There are also little things, little details that make a big difference at the top level.
My team and I know what we need to improve.
Today (Friday), maybe I should have gone to the net a little bit more."
