Sinner: "The court is different
With just three days to go before the start of the season-ending Masters, Jannik Sinner recently held a press conference in which he spoke in particular about the playing conditions in Turin this year.
He explained that he would need time to adapt, as the conditions seemed slower than last year: "We're still getting used to it. The court is different compared to last year, it's a bit slower.
There are still a few days to go before we get to the top for the first match."
A slowdown that could do the trick for Carlos Alcaraz, who recently criticized the speed of the courts at the Paris-Bercy Masters 1000.
On the competitive front, the world No. 1 will kick off his tournament on Sunday with a first group match against the ever-enthusiastic Alex De Minaur.
