Sinner, the first Masters semi-final qualifier!
Before playing his third and final group match tonight against Daniil Medvedev, Jannik Sinner officially qualified for the semi-finals of the ATP Finals this afternoon.
With a record of two wins and no set losses, the world No.1 was already virtually assured of a place in Saturday's Masters semi-finals.
But it was thanks to Taylor Fritz's set win over Alex De Minaur that the Italian officially sealed his ticket for the rest of the tournament.
He therefore has nothing to play for this evening against Medvedev, and will have to wait until tomorrow to find out who his semi-final opponent will be.
