Jannik Sinner didn't waver on Wednesday.
Up against the ever-dangerous Ben Shelton, the world number 1 played a very high-level game.
Very consistent, aggressive when needed and surgically efficient on important points (1 break point converted out of 1, 7 break points saved out of 7), he managed his match very well.
He also covered his court to perfection, frequently forcing his opponent into error.
Qualified after almost 1h30 of play and two sets (6-4, 7-6), Sinner is reassuring himself three days after a slightly shaky third round against Etcheverry.
For a place in the semi-finals, the Transalpine will meet Daniil Medvedev.
