While doubts still linger over Jannik Sinner’s participation in his quarterfinal against Ben Shelton, the Italian was spotted on the practice courts at Aorangi Park.
He was wearing a large bandage stretching from his shoulder down to his wrist, a sign that he likely won’t be at 100% for his match.

He also didn’t seem to be hitting his forehand as usual. For now, Sinner has not made any official comments about his condition.
He is scheduled to play on Court No. 1 in the second rotation, around 4 p.m. local time.
