Sinner: "We'll see about my wrist tomorrow when it gets cold".

Le 07/09/2024 à 02h09 par Guillaume Nonque
Sinner: We'll see about my wrist tomorrow when it gets cold.

Jannik Sinner hurt himself when he fell on his left wrist in the 2nd set of his match against Jack Draper in the US Open semi-finals. But the world No. 1 was more frightened than hurt, and was immediately relieved by the physio's intervention.

He remains cautious, however, and is waiting to see how he feels when his wrist is cold. This is what he explained in the post-match press conference.

Jannik Sinner:
"Yes, the physio got it (his left wrist) unstuck very quickly on the court. I felt okay at first, then it disappeared as I played, which is good. Let's see what happens tomorrow when it's cold.

It'll feel different. I hope there's nothing to worry about. I'm pretty relaxed because if it's something serious, you immediately feel it a bit more. So yes, we'll see what happens."
