Sinner, Youngest Player to Reach Seven Consecutive Finals Since Lendl in 1982
On a streak of 26 consecutive wins after his victory over Tommy Paul in the semifinals of the Rome Masters 1000 on Friday, Jannik Sinner continues to shatter records.
The world No. 1 has now reached his seventh consecutive final on the tour, a streak that began in August 2024 in Cincinnati. At 23, Sinner has become the youngest player to achieve this feat since Ivan Lendl in 1982.
The last player to contest seven straight finals was Andy Murray in 2016 (Madrid, Rome, Roland-Garros, Queen's, Wimbledon, Rio Olympics, and Cincinnati).
