Six Kings Slam: the Saudi exhibition where every match is worth gold
In 2024, a new exhibition is born in Saudi Arabia under the impetus of the General Entertainment Authority (GEA), an entity created in 2016 and led by Turki Al-Sheikh, close to Mohammed bin Salman.
No ATP points, but stars in attendance
Named Six Kings Slam, the competition aims to bring together six Grand Slam tournament winners in a tight format, played over three days, with no ATP points at stake, but with unprecedented financial rewards.
The concept is simple: six matches (two quarter-finals, two semi-finals, a third-place match, and a final) for a condensed and highly lucrative spectacle.
$1.5 million for 55 minutes of play
The winner pockets a colossal check of six million dollars, while each participant is guaranteed to leave with $1.5 million. For comparison, the winners of the 2025 US Open received $5 million, after winning seven matches.
In Riyadh, Alexander Zverev received $1.5 million for 55 minutes spent on the court.
