Six Kings Slam: Zverev Powerless Against Fritz, But Leaves With $1.5 Million!

Still just as relentless against Zverev, Taylor Fritz made quick work of the German in Riyadh (6-3, 6-4). The American will face Carlos Alcaraz tomorrow in the exhibition's semi-final.
Taylor Fritz continues to be Alexander Zverev's nemesis. The two men faced off this Wednesday during the first day of the Six Kings Slam, an exhibition organized in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Fritz, world No. 5 and a Wimbledon semi-finalist this year, wasted no time against an opponent he enjoys playing (six consecutive wins against Zverev in official matches), winning 6-3, 6-4 in just over an hour of play.
He thus qualifies for the final four of the event and will face world No. 1 Carlos Alcaraz tomorrow.
Zverev, eliminated in his first match, won't leave empty-handed. Each participant indeed receives a fee of $1.5 million, which is more than the amount won by Valentin Vacherot at the Shanghai Masters 1000 last Sunday.
