Stats - Andreeva reaches quarter-finals in Dubai and achieves precocious performance

Mirra Andreeva had her work cut out for her this Wednesday at the WTA 1000 tournament in Dubai, as rain forced her to play two matches.

She beat Marketa Vondrousova back-to-back and then Peyton Stearns. The Russian now reaches the quarter-finals of the tournament, where she will face Iga Swiatek.

At the age of 17, she becomes the first player to record 20 WTA 1000 victories before the age of 18, since the creation of this tournament category in 2009.
