Grigor Dimitrov and Novak Djokovic will face off this Friday for a spot in the Miami Masters 1000 final.

They are 33 and 37 years old respectively, making for a combined age of 70. This is the Masters 1000 semifinal with the highest combined age in history.

The Bulgarian will be playing for his 4th Masters 1000 final, having won one title in this category at Cincinnati in 2017.

I propose the following changes to the rules:

1...a walķover will not be a loss. We have no control of player's health. If he or she is entered in a contest we expect them to play.

2...an incomplete match is not a loss. If a player forfeits we pick another match if there are more to choose.

3...this also applies if TT cancels a match. TT will not take hours to decide an outcome.
