Stats - France, the most represented country in the Top 100!
We'd almost got into the habit of expressing alarm at the Tricolores' disappointing results. And yet, at the end of the 2024 season, the nation that has placed the most players in the world's tennis elite is indeed France, with 12 represented among the 100 best players on the planet.
Although no Frenchman is in the Top 10, and results in the Majors are still rather timid, the French have finished very strongly this year, with Bonzi winning in Metz, Humbert a finalist in Paris and Fils winning in Tokyo.
As a result, France is by far the most represented country in the top 100 in 2024, with twelve members, four more than Italy (8).
In detail, it is Humbert (14), Fils (20), Mpetshi Perricard (31), Monfils (55), Rinderknech (59), Cazaux (65), Mannarino (68), Moutet (69), Muller (70), Gaston (74), Bonzi (77) and Pouille (98) who have maintained or joined this elite in 2024.
