Sunday's program at Roland-Garros: start of the round of 16 and return of the sun

This Sunday sees the start of the Round of 16 at Roland Garros. And the weather is finally set to improve, with the day expected to be rain-free. The roofs of Court Philippe Chatrier and Court Suzanne Lenglen, where the day's 8 singles will be played, will finally be able to retract after remaining closed for most of the week. Sunshine is expected

On the ladies' side, Iga Swiatek will take on Anastasia Potapova, Coco Gauff will face Elisabetta Cocciaretto, Marketta Vondrousova will take on Olga Danilovic and Ons Jabeur will attempt to confirm her renewed form against Clara Tauson.

On the men's side, Carlos Alcaraz will face his first test against Felix Auger-Aliassime, Jannik Sinner will take on the unpredictable Corentin Moutet, Stefanos Tsitsipas will be in danger against Matteo Arnaldi and lastly, probably the most indecisive duel of the day will pit Hubert Hurkacz against Grigor Dimitrov.

Also worth noting is the start of the Roland Garros Junior Boys' and Girls' tournaments.

The first matches are scheduled to start at 12:00 on Court Philippe Chatrier and at 11:00 on all other courts. Have a great eighth day!
