Swiatek Addresses Rumors of Withdrawal from Wimbledon: "Who Said That?"

After her tough loss in Madrid against Gauff, many rumors suggested that Swiatek might skip the grass season. The goal would supposedly be to rest and arrive in top form for the US Open, as the player has been going through a difficult phase both on and off the court.
Asked about this in Madrid and quoted by *Guardian Sport*, the world No. 4 responded:
"Who said that? You shouldn’t believe those things. Over the past few days, I’ve seen millions of comments that weren’t true. I don’t understand—there are so many theories right now, especially from Polish media, but they’re not true. I think—well, I don’t know—maybe you have to write articles to attract readers.
I get it, it’s part of the job. But one thing is certain: I’m not skipping Wimbledon. I really want to figure out how to play better on grass. Every year is an opportunity. I will play Wimbledon, that’s for sure, unless I get injured."
