Swiatek on her season start: "I don't want to think about it too much. I'm happy to move on to clay."
Iga Swiatek is likely not having the 2025 season start she had hoped for. The Polish player has yet to win a title and was just eliminated in Miami by the surprising Alexandra Eala.
Asked about this in her post-match press conference, she responded: "I don’t want to think about it too much. It’s good to learn from defeats, but there are other things ahead, and I’m happy to move on to clay.
I don’t know how it will go this year, but I’ll work hard to be ready from the first tournaments."
A four-time Roland-Garros champion, Swiatek can certainly rely on the clay season to regain her confidence and find her way back to titles.
