Women's Semifinals, Djokovic, Fils: Today's Schedule in Miami

After an eventful night, the Miami tournament continues this Thursday, and the stakes will only grow higher as the week progresses. The spotlight is on the last three men’s quarterfinals as well as the women’s semifinals on the center court.
Kicking off the day at 6 PM French time, Arthur Fils will play his quarterfinal against Jakub Mensik. Just hours after defeating Alexander Zverev, the Frenchman will face the Czech player, who had two days of rest after benefiting from his compatriot Tomas Machac’s withdrawal in the previous round.
Following that, the first women’s semifinal will pit world No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka against Jasmine Paolini. The Belarusian leads their head-to-head record with three wins to two.
However, the last two hard-court meetings between the two players were won by Sabalenka, in Beijing and at the WTA Finals late last year.
Next, to wrap up the day session, Novak Djokovic and Sebastian Korda will make up for their delayed quarterfinal match, which was originally scheduled for the day before. The winner of this clash will face Grigor Dimitrov in the semifinals.
The evening session will feature two Americans aiming to advance further. First, world No. 4 Taylor Fritz will take on Matteo Berrettini in a battle of big servers, followed by Jessica Pegula, who was already on court the previous day, as she attempts to reach the final of the WTA 1000 in Miami against the tournament’s breakout star, Alexandra Eala.
