Tabilo saves two match points and wins the Chengdu tournament by defeating Musetti

Alejandro Tabilo came back from behind. Having come through the qualifying rounds, this final against Lorenzo Musetti marked his 7th match of the week in Chengdu.
Despite conceding a break point, the Chilean secured the first set with a score of 6-4. However, he faltered at the start of the second set, getting broken in his first service game. He conceded another break in the eighth game and lost the second set 6-2.
The third set was very tight between the two players. While serving to stay in the match at 6-5, Tabilo had to save two match points to force his opponent into a tie-break.
He found himself in a difficult situation in the tie-break, trailing 4-1 to Musetti. But he managed to turn the tide and converted his only match point on the Italian's serve.
Tabilo thus wins the Chengdu tournament, which allows him to return to the Top 100 after a season marred by injuries.
Meanwhile, Musetti ended up in tears on his chair, losing his fifth consecutive final.
