The 5 ATP Challenger tournaments of 2025 have been voted on!

From Villa Primrose to the scorching courts of Santa Cruz, here are the five Challenger tournaments that captivated players, fans, and observers this year.

Bordeaux 2025 (Challenger 175)

The BNP Paribas Primrose Bordeaux struck again. Crowned the best Challenger 175 tournament, the event in Gironde transformed Villa Primrose into a temple of clay.

This edition, held during the Rome Masters 1000, attracted a draw of exceptional density: eight seeds from the Top 80, a level almost akin to an ATP 250.

And it was Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard who lifted the trophy.

Manama, Bahrain (Challenger 125)

For the second consecutive year, the tournament located in Bahrain wins the award for best Challenger 125.

A vote that confirms the rise of tennis in the Gulf.

Driven by massive government support, Manama now stands as a major event in Middle Eastern tennis. And this year, it was Marton Fucsovics who emerged victorious.

Bloomfield Hills: first American Challenger crowned

It's historic: the Cranbrook Tennis Classic becomes the first American tournament to win the ATP Challenger 100 award.

After the triumph of young Estonian Mark Lajal, the tournament broke attendance records and rose among the most followed events on the calendar.

Curitiba illuminates Brazil (Challenger 75)

The Curitiba International Tennis Cup continues its ascent and wins the title of best Challenger 75.

In a typically scorching Brazilian atmosphere, Paraguayan Adolfo Daniel Vallejo etched his name on the honors list.

Curitiba becomes a showcase for the explosion of tennis in South America and a laboratory for future gems.

Santa Cruz de la Sierra (Bolivia Open)

Third consecutive crown: the Bolivia Open is a true machine for captivating players and fans.

Voted best Challenger 50 for the third year, the tournament is beloved for its unique atmosphere, impeccable organization, and passionate crowd.

This year, Argentine Alex Barrena claimed the trophy in an electrifying atmosphere.

Omnipresent cameras, line judges on the verge of extinction, mistakes that persist nonetheless: technology fascinates as much as it divides. Tennis, at a crossroads, is still searching for its balance between progress and emotion.

Born almost by accident in an Acapulco garden, padel has in fifty years become a global phenomenon that both fascinates and worries tennis. Its meteoric rise is already reshaping the landscape of racket sports.

As we move to the end of this month and also closing out the year I am wishing all of those following me a Merry Christmas and a Happy/Healthy New Year.

Let's make that wish for all 2000 plus players hoping for 5 wins each day. Hoping ŵhen we open the results page to see all green, and no red. And especially NO CANCELED matches.

From me and my rotti JAZ, I bid you all good night, and see you in...

why did tennis tonic void predictions on the match between Chwalinska and Huergo at the Quito tournament? The match was played to completion and on time. If TT feels the match is one sided, and of course it was, then don't put it up for prediction. This is getting irritating.

The finals are here, and we scramble for the best finish. I've been chasing "King" all year and I was able to shrink the spread a little. Skelp is also closing the gap.

Seasons best to all the regulars in our league.

Will you all be back in the new year.?

Steffi Graf completed a Golden Slam (not just a career Grand Slam) when she was 19. She is the only person to accomplish that, winning the four majors plus Olympic gold the same calendar year.
