Jannik Sinner, currently participating in the Six Kings Slam exhibition, has looked back on the Shanghai tournament and the physical challenges he faced there.
He states: "I took two days off, then resumed training: I feel good now, both physically and mentally. The conditions last week were very difficult, but now everything is back to normal.
I think it was psychological. I spoke with my team: from that perspective, everything wasn't ideal, but now everything is fine. It was my fault: the heat and humidity exhausted me.
We learn from these things. Cramps happen, and I was part of that. We are ready for the upcoming tournaments: the ATP in Vienna, the Paris Masters 1000, and the ATP Finals in Turin. I hope to finish the year as well as possible.
