The PTPA accuses "ATP officials of threats towards players due to their participation in this action"
The PTPA requested a court order on Friday evening. The organization founded by Djokovic is now accusing the ATP of "inappropriate, coercive, or threatening communications with players," reports the newspaper L'Équipe.
The ATP is accused of attempting to pressure players into signing pre-prepared statements, claiming they had no knowledge of the legal action initiated this week by the PTPA.
A series of meetings and conversations is said to have been organized during the Miami tournament:
"ATP officials threatened players with negative consequences for their participation in this action.
It was reportedly communicated that the costs of the legal action taken to defend against the PTPA would be estimated between $50 and $100 million.
An amount that could potentially impact prize money and pension funds," reports L'Équipe.
