While Jack Draper was having an excellent start to the season, an arm injury sustained at Wimbledon deprived him of the second half of the season. However, he had made his return at the US Open but withdrew after one match played.

In an interview given to the Independent, the Brit reveals the details of his injury.

"Actually, I think the scan I had gave me false hope, that there might have been a misinterpretation. I don't regret playing the US Open, because I am an athlete, I want to achieve great things.

I was in great shape before Wimbledon, in terms of my ranking and my game, and I wanted to continue that momentum. It's just a shame that I couldn't continue like that.

why did tennis tonic void predictions on the match between Chwalinska and Huergo at the Quito tournament? The match was played to completion and on time. If TT feels the match is one sided, and of course it was, then don't put it up for prediction. This is getting irritating.
