The second men's semifinal at Roland-Garros postponed to 7 p.m. in 2025
Once again this year, the world's top players are expected at the end of May to compete in the second Grand Slam event on the Parisian clay. 128 players will be in the main draw, aiming to follow in the footsteps of Carlos Alcaraz, who claimed his first title at Porte d’Auteuil in 2024 after a five-set victory over Alexander Zverev.
However, the organizers of the Parisian tournament have decided to make a few small changes for the 2025 edition. Indeed, on Friday, June 6—the day of the men's semifinals—the second match of the day will not take place in the afternoon as is usually the case.
During her press conference to present this year's tournament, Roland-Garros tournament director Amélie Mauresmo confirmed that the second semifinal will not start before 7 p.m. on Court Philippe-Chatrier. Last year, it had been scheduled for 5:30 p.m.
