Térence Atmane just won his 7th consecutive match in Cincinnati by defeating Holger Rune. The Frenchman has qualified for the semifinals, where he will face Jannik Sinner.
A feat with major consequences for his career, both in sporting and financial terms, as he explained in an on-court interview.
He said: "There are no words to describe what I'm feeling right now. It's truly unbelievable—I can't believe it.
Reaching the semifinals of a Masters 1000, breaking into the Top 100, and even higher with this victory tonight—it also means a lot of money, which will be very useful for my career.
This means so much to me, I’m very emotional.
