Three new winners in Masters 1000 events out of the first four played this year, a first since 1991

The Madrid tournament delivered its verdict on Sunday with Casper Ruud's victory in the final over Jack Draper.
Following the Norwegian's triumph, three new players have been crowned in Masters 1000 events out of the first four played this season.
Jack Draper (Indian Wells), Jakub Mensik (Miami), and Casper Ruud (Madrid) each claimed their first title in this category. Only Carlos Alcaraz, the winner of Monte-Carlo, had previously lifted trophies in other Masters 1000 tournaments.
As noted by Jeu, Set et Maths on X (formerly Twitter), this hadn't happened since the 1991 season.
Back then, Jim Courier had won his first two ATP Championship Series (the original name for Masters 1000) by achieving the Indian Wells-Miami double, before Sergi Bruguera triumphed in Monte-Carlo and Karel Novacek in Hamburg.
