Tiafoe withdraws from Vienna and Paris tournaments

While the Brussels tournament had just announced the withdrawal of Frances Tiafoe, it has been confirmed that the American will also not participate in the ATP 500 in Vienna or the Masters 1000 in Paris.

He will be replaced in Paris by Lorenzo Sonego. This is a hard blow for Tiafoe who is having a relatively complicated season, having fallen back to 28th place in the world rankings after being on the verge of the Top 10 just a few months ago.

For now, he remains registered for the ATP 250 in Metz, the last tournament of the season.

I propose the following changes to the rules:

1...a walķover will not be a loss. We have no control of player's health. If he or she is entered in a contest we expect them to play.

2...an incomplete match is not a loss. If a player forfeits we pick another match if there are more to choose.

3...this also applies if TT cancels a match. TT will not take hours to decide an outcome.
