Amid multiple commitments, Jérémy Chardy has agreed to support Ugo Humbert for a decisive tour. Could this reignite the momentum of the French No. 2, whose ranking is in jeopardy?

Humbert-Chardy, chapter two? Eight months after their separation following the Australian Open, where the Metz native reached the round of 16, the two men will work together again, though the duration of this renewed collaboration is unknown.

L'Équipe reports that the French No. 2, without a coach since parting ways with Fabrice Martin at the end of August, has managed to bring back his former mentor Jérémy Chardy for the Tokyo and Shanghai tournaments. His presence could reignite Humbert's end of season, as 52% of his points will be up for grabs between Tokyo and Paris.

To note, Chardy is already quite busy with coaching Alycia Parks and his responsibilities with the UTS.

Born almost by accident in an Acapulco garden, padel has in fifty years become a global phenomenon that both fascinates and worries tennis. Its meteoric rise is already reshaping the landscape of racket sports.

Since February 2022 and the invasion of Ukraine by Russia, Ukrainian sport has been heavily affected by human, structural and economic losses. Tennis has, of course, not been spared. While Ukrainian athletes have had to rethink their entire organization, an entire country, behind the scenes, has had to adapt and change its training conditions. This extends all the way to the highest level, where professional players have spoken out, trying as best they can to help their nation.

As we move to the end of this month and also closing out the year I am wishing all of those following me a Merry Christmas and a Happy/Healthy New Year.

Let's make that wish for all 2000 plus players hoping for 5 wins each day. Hoping ŵhen we open the results page to see all green, and no red. And especially NO CANCELED matches.

From me and my rotti JAZ, I bid you all good night, and see you in...

why did tennis tonic void predictions on the match between Chwalinska and Huergo at the Quito tournament? The match was played to completion and on time. If TT feels the match is one sided, and of course it was, then don't put it up for prediction. This is getting irritating.

The finals are here, and we scramble for the best finish. I've been chasing "King" all year and I was able to shrink the spread a little. Skelp is also closing the gap.

Seasons best to all the regulars in our league.

Will you all be back in the new year.?

Steffi Graf completed a Golden Slam (not just a career Grand Slam) when she was 19. She is the only person to accomplish that, winning the four majors plus Olympic gold the same calendar year.
