Towards a marathon match between Dimitrov and Tiafoe?

The suspense is finally there in this second US Open men's quarter-final between Grigor Dimitrov and Frances Tiafoe.
While it initially looked as though the match was going to be a one-way affair, the match evened out considerably and has now become quite unpredictable.
In fact, Tiafoe started the match with a prodigious level of play, taking advantage of a Bulgarian who missed his appointment and taking the lead (6-3, 4-2).
However, far from getting frustrated, the world number 9 didn't panic, gradually settling his shots. Increasingly aggressive and impactful in the exchange, Dimitrov made up lost ground before snatching the second set in a near-perfect tiebreak.
After a string of winning shots, the 33-year-old had a scare at the end of the second set.
Committing two consecutive double faults, he let the American come back to 6-5 (in the tie-break). However, far from taking advantage, Tiafoe returned the favor with a double fault of his own!
After more than 2 hours of battle, the two men are back-to-back (6-3, 6-7) and look set for an extended duel that could take us all the way to the end of the night.
