Training Resumption Announced for Alcaraz: Six Kings Slam and $6 Million Check in Sight
After an exceptional season, Carlos Alcaraz is set to resume training for the Six Kings Slam. The Spaniard is seriously preparing for the end of his season, determined to secure victory and the large check promised in Riyad.
Fresh off his title win in Tokyo last week, Carlos Alcaraz subsequently decided to withdraw from the Shanghai Masters 1000. A beneficial choice for the world number one given the challenging playing conditions in China that forced his rival Jannik Sinner to withdraw.
Marca, always on the lookout for the latest news about the Spaniard, announces that Alcaraz will resume training on Friday with the Six Kings Slam (October 15-18) in his sights.
He will travel to Saudi Arabia with his main coach Juan Carlos Ferrero, who today denied having cancer.
The El Palmar native, with 67 victories this season, hopes to cash the six-million-dollar check promised to the winner of the Saudi exhibition.
