Tsitsipas beats Sinner to reach the Monte-Carlo final!

Against all the odds, it's Stefanos Tsitsipas who will reach the final in Monte-Carlo. Winner after 2 hours 40 minutes, the Greek brilliantly toppled Jannik Sinner (6-4, 3-6, 6-4).
After a thunderous start to the match, the world number 12 was helplessly beaten by Sinner. With the match level at one set all, the Italian seemed to have done the hard part. Breaking quickly in the 3rd set, the inspired world No. 2 was well on the way to another final this season.
In the end, Sinner lost the battle physically. After missing a double-break point (at 3-1 in the final set) due to - yet another - refereeing error, the winner of the last Australian Open suddenly gave up. Calling on the physio twice (pain in his right leg), he was unable to keep up the pace, letting Tsitsipas come back and win.
For the Greek, the resurrection is complete. Stuttering so far this season, he is finally back on top. Kneeling on the Monegasque clay court, Tsitsipas made no secret of his delight. On Sunday, the world number 12 will have the opportunity to win a 3rd title in Monte-Carlo. He will face either Novak Djokovic or Casper Ruud.
