Tsitsipas in the news again: "I'd probably say Carlos Alcaraz".
Does Stefanos Tsitsipas have a problem with self-assessment?
Ranked 12th in the world this week, the Greek is a long way from the days when he was one of the main contenders for a Grand Slam title.
However, Tsitsipas is not giving up hope and still intends to achieve great things this season.
Questioned in a press conference, he explained that his greatest rival was Carlos Alcaraz, world No. 3 and winner of Sunday's Wimbledon title: "My greatest rival on the circuit? I'd probably say Carlos Alcaraz".
As a reminder, the two men have faced each other 6 times and the Spaniard has never lost. Since 2022, he hasn't even lost a set to the Greek (8 sets won consecutively, ongoing series).
