For the third year in a row, Stefanos Tsitsipas qualified for the quarter-finals of the Paris-Bercy Masters 1000 by beating Francisco Cerundolo (6-7, 6-4, 6-2) after more than two hours of play.
Unable to find a solution in the first set (0 break points obtained), the Greek succumbed after a completely unsuccessful tie-break (7-1).
But he quickly raised his game to find the break on the Argentine's serve and break him early in each of the last two sets.
In the quarter-finals, Tsitsipas will face the winner of the match between Alexander Zverev and Arthur Fils.
