Videos - Tsitsipas' superb point against Carreno Busta

Stefanos Tsitsipas kicked off his season with a victory. Up against a very good Pablo Carreno Busta, the Greek was pushed to his limits, but he raised his level of tennis to win in the end (6-4, 4-6, 6-3).

In an intense duel, it was in the 6ᵉ game of the final act that the Greek made the difference. Leading 3-2, he produced a superb return game to break the Spaniard and break when he had to.

The match came down to a single point. A break point at 3-2 in the final set. Taking the ascendancy very early in the rally, the current world number 11 put his opponent a long way from the ball before finally concluding this crucial point with a magnificent volley (see video below).

Stefanos Tsitsipas
11e, 3165 points
Pablo Carreno Busta
