Sakkari has fun with Tsitsipas: "I won't take your backhand".
Maria Sakkari and Stefanos Tsitsipas are representing Greece at this year's United Cup, and got off to a winning start yesterday against Spain.
In a game organized by the United Cup, the two players had to answer a few questions, such as which shot they wouldn't like to exchange with each other.
The sequence, full of honesty, is enough to make you smile, especially when Sakkari answers:
Tsitsipas to Sakkari: "I'm very happy with my serve and I'm able to hit higher angles thanks to my height.
So obviously, the serve. I'm not saying you have a bad serve, but I have more angles."
Sakkari in response to Tsitsipas: "I'm not going to take your backhand (smile)."
Tsitsipas: "That makes sense. I expected that."
